Ms. Shannon Spotlight

Ms. Shannon Anderson, teacher and award-winning children's book author, has partnered with Budsies to help inspire reading and writing in her third-grade students. Ms. Shannon has been creating custom Budsies plushies for her students based on books they wrote, illustrated, and published!

Budsies Book Project

Ms. Shannon’s yearly book project has her students writing their own books, and then Budsies brings their main characters to life as custom stuffed animals. Video of the kids getting their Budsies has gone viral with more than 4 million views after being featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Power of Positivity, Humankind, and more!
